Cold Atom Lab is an original woodwind composition for sextet, created for a film using NASA footage. This piece, which reflects the style of 1980s science videos, explores advanced compositional and orchestrational techniques for woodwinds. The project involved detailed music preparation, including overdubbing and Pro Tools setup. It was recorded by a Woodwind Sextet at AFTRS and composed, orchestrated, conducted, and mixed by Alexandra Farr.
